How to care for your Flower Arrangement

If your arrangement is in floral foam:
  • Check to ensure that the floral foam is saturated.


  • If not, add warm water containing floral preservative.


  • Display your arrangement in a cool location, free from direct sunlight or draughts.


  • The use of a floral preservative will extend the life of your flowers.

Caring for your cut flowers:
  • Remove all foliage that would be under the water line in your vase.


  • Cut the ends of the stems (about 1/4 “) underwater with a SHARP knife or scissors and put in a CLEAN vase of lukewarm water to which floral preservative has been added.


  • Display in an area that is free from direct sunlight or draughts.


  • Change the water every two days and re-cut the stems, discarding any flowers that have become wilted.


  • The use of a floral preservative will extend the life of your flowers.
